POSTGRADUATE STUDENT EVENT: “POPULARIZATION OF RESEARCH AND GRANT FUND APPLICATIONS”, 20 May 2021, 12–16.30
A postgraduate student training event will be held on Thursday 20 May 2021 from 12.00 to 16.30. The theme of the event is popularizing research and applying for grant funding. This event is organised in co-operation with the Langnet network and funded by a Kopiosto grant from the Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters. The training event includes two presentations, given by specialists in the field, as well as a workshop on writing research plans. In order to participate in the workshop, submitting a research plan for commentary prior to the event is required. The research plans will then be reviewed by experienced researches and fellow postgraduate students. Although this event is aimed primarily at postgraduate students, anyone interested is welcome to attend.
The working languages of the event are Finnish and English. The presentations are in Finnish, while both Finnish and English can be used in the workshop. The language of the pre-submitted research plan can be either Finnish, Swedish, or English.

The research plans discussed and commentated in the workshop must be uploaded on the event’s Moodle site by 5 May 2021 at the latest.
